GO PURPLE FOR BERKSHIRE!
May 4, 2020
May is National Foster Care Awareness Month
It is a time when we bring awareness to the need for foster families across New York State.
Individuals, groups and businesses can show support and help bring awareness by pledging to Go Purple for Berkshire on May 4th!
Be creative - dress in purple clothing, purple hats, or any other creative ideas for showcasing the Berkshire Purple and helping us build awareness of this important need.
DID YOU KNOW?
There are 25,600 kids in foster care across NYS
Everyday 69 kids come into care
We served 824 children in foster care in 2019
THANK YOU FOR GOING PURPLE FOR BERKSHIRE!
When you make a commitment to Go Purple for Berkshire, we encourage you to print our flyer to display on May 4th, which will help others understand why you are wearing purple.
Together, we can bring awareness and hopefully encourage others to learn more about becoming a foster parent.
Don't forget to take pictures and tag us on Facebook & Instagram @berkshirefarmcenter and use the hash tag #gopurpleforberkshire.
Be creative and let your purple shine!
